Compulsory education balanced development is the important goal of the reform and development of education in our country, and the development of rural education is the key to realize the balanced development. The rural education's development should not only rely on the support from the government and the management of schools, also depend on the rural family investment in the education. Family is one of the main bodies of the education investment, family education investment reflecting the needs of students and affecting the development direction of education. For individuals, the family investment education is an important way to make a living and improve the social status. In recent years, with the development of after-school education, the situation of the family education investment costs'rapid growth caught the attention of society. The study found that excessive and irrational family education investment behavior resulted in the excessive growth of private education expenses to some extent. Urban households investment in education is far greater than rural households, and the differences between them is becoming clear. The expansion of urban and rural differences in family education investment result in the students enjoy the education resources more unequal that further hindered the balanced development of urban and rural education. The difference of family education investment also reflects the difference in the level of urban and rural education development. Despite the differences between urban and rural areas is inevitable, its negative effects should not be overlooked.In order to further understand the differences between urban and rural household investment in education, the paper adopts the ways of questionnaire survey and interviews to understand the condition of urban and rural family education investment then analysis the differences of investment way, expenses, and factors. The result showed that the difference between urban and rural household education investment costs mainly reflected in after-school education and family education. Among the after-school education investment costs in the contribution of the difference is 74.6%. And although the cost of the family education investment's influence on difference is small, urban family education investment cost is eight times of the rural family. Additionally, this article studied the negative impact of the expand differences of family education investment in the perspectives of students and education. Finally, in order to alleviate the negative impact of differences in education investment. This paper argues that the government should improve rural education level of public services; promote the quality of rural school education; accelerate the development of after-school education in rural; organize countryside Children's Palace activity;through a variety of benefits form to promote students' development and encourage education public welfare organization support for rural education.In addition to, parents should change the educational concept; focus on the role of family education; increase the intensity of investment for students' after-school education...
