With the deepening of the world globalization and informatization, the world's demand for high-quality talents is increasing, the realization of innovative education is imminent. Innovative education is the implementation of the new curriculum reform, the use of new teaching methods to cultivate innovative awareness of primary and secondary school students, innovative thinking teaching methods. In the past, the traditional teaching methods used by teachers are gradually integrated into the new method,Question teaching method is one kind of these. Question teaching method blend the knowledge,thinking, ability and emotion together, making the students acquire knowledge, improving student's level of thinking and creative ability, and cultivating students' emotion. Question teaching method as a way to change the roles of teachers and students, to stimulate students' learning enthusiasm, improve the students' thinking ability and problem-solving ability method, adapting to the trend of the times, and in line with the requirements of China's contemporary education teaching reform.This paper mainly uses the literature research method, questionnaire survey method, experimental method, observation method, interview method and other research methods. First, this paper arranged and analysed the problem teaching method and put forward the research background, significance, ideas and methods. Then, the related concepts were defined and theoretical basis for research and development were set forth. Thirdly, by reading a large number of documents, the questionnaire was drawn up, through the investigation to the geography teachers in junior middle school, the present situation of the application of question teaching method in middle school geography class was analysed. Fourthly, according to the problems existed in the status, the corresponding teaching strategies were proposed. Fifthly, through the teaching practice of question teaching method in junior high school geography classroom, the effectiveness of the proposed strategy was tested. At last, the main conclusions, innovations, deficiencies and prospects of the research were summarized.Through the questionnaire investigation and analysis, found some problems:(1) the problem awareness and behavior of teachers do not match, the quality of the design is not high, attention to students' spontaneous questions is not enough, and the understanding of the problem teaching method is not comprehensive.(2) The factors of influence on students' self questioning and the implementation ofproblem teaching are various.(3) The main reasons for the implementation of the problems includes: the influence of examination oriented education, the lack of awareness of students' problems and the lack of teaching ability of teachers.On the basis of the survey results,aiming at the problems, some implementation strategies are put forward: Follow the principle of problem teaching method. Teachers should strengthen the theoretical study and change the traditional teaching idea. To create a harmonious teaching environment. The problems of different teaching steps are designed. Pay attention to the cultivation of students' problem awareness,improve the ability of students to raise questions and students thinking ability and problem-solving ability.Through the teaching practice,the two classes of midterm and final results of horizontal and vertical comparative analysis, on the teaching process of tracking observation,Interviews with students' geographical interests and emotional interaction in the two classes, it found that the application of the problem teaching method can get better effect in teaching;First, conducive to enhance students' interest in learning geography.Secondly, it is good to improve students' achievement; Third, it can improve the classroom atmosphere, making the classroom environment more liberal, democratic and harmonious;Fourth, it is favor to strengthen the interaction between teachers and students and foster the feelings; Fifth,it is conducive to the growth of teachers and students to achieve a win-win situation.The main conclusions of this paper are:(1) Problem teaching method of the implementation of the status quo needs to be improved.(2) The author puts forward the implementation strategy of problem teaching method.(3) problem teaching method has very good effect in the implementation of junior middle school geography class.The innovation is to put forward the strategy of the implementation of the problem teaching method in the junior middle school geography class. On the basis of analyzing the present situation of the application of problem teaching method, the corresponding implementation strategies are put forward, and the effectiveness of the teaching strategy is tested through the teaching practice.
