Optimization On Ideological And Political Education In Nationalities Colleges And Universities

Nationalities colleges and universities are comprehensive regular institutions of higher education set up to solve national problems by Communist Party of China and the state. To carry out the ideological and political education in nationalities colleges and universities is not only related to the individual growth and success of the minority students, but also related to national unity, social stability and the reunification of the motherland, which is of great significance. Because of minority students occupied a high proportion, so there are some particularities in the object, content and method of ideological and political education in those universities. This paper carries out optimization research combining with work practice from the focus, the difficult point and the characteristic of students' ideological and political education, and puts forward suggestions to strengthen the ideological and political education work from national unity education, religious beliefs work, and national culture education, using National Theory of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, Marxist theory of religion and theories of ideological and political education as basis.During the study, literature research, case studies and other research methods are integrated used to review the ways of ideological and political education in nationalities colleges and universities in China systematically, with the reference of research achievements of moral education and religious education of foreign universities. Both the universality and the particularity of ideological and political education of students are considered in the analysis.According to the article, to strengthen the national unity education, efforts should be made to improve the education system, popularize national unity education in all aspects of school life, and carry out activities of national unity and progress. To improve religious beliefs work through combination of respect for religious freedom and strict daily management, further study of religion theory and work skills training, and the forward and downward of daily work. To optimize the national culture education through promoting national culture into teaching materials, classroom and students' mind, strengthening cultural carrier construction, enhancing the cultural work skills and creating a good atmosphere.
