Study On The Co-operative Education Of University Of Waterloo In Canada

Co-operation education of University of Waterloo as one of the key strategies reform and development of higher education aims to train the talents to adapt the current economy and technology through using the social environment and school education resources.Co-operative education will help student's unity the classroom knowledge into workplace learning.With the development of the Co-operative education in the higher education,The University of Waterloo has been the most successful case.The special mode of Co-operative education has attracted many universities to imitate it,which demonstrate the value Co-operative education.University of Waterloo is the leader of higher education in Canada and the most successful universities in Co-operative education.This study will research on the Co-operative education in depth and taking the university as the main research object,through the enterprises division of universities and functions of government in practice;the advantages of the learning and alternation education mode as to present reasonable suggestions to our country in theory.The paper is composed of six parts.First part is about the source of the study and point out the main research methods from the current research situations;The second part is analysis the particularity background and development stage of Co-operative education of the university;The third part is the implement of Co-operative education,intends to specify and explicate the educational objectives of the subjects;The fourth part aims to analysis the guarantee mechanism of the education,including the important of policy guiding and funding support,the teaching quality supervision and certification of Co-operative education;The fifth parts will analysis and summary the characteristics of the Co-operative education;The sixth part is the enlightenment the Co-operative Education of University of Waterloo to our country by optimizing the process of talent cultivation,promoting the development of the specialization and building the interests of the community of Co-operative education,establishing the management service organization and the certification program of the Co-operative education in our country.
