In the modern times, information technology is constantly pushing forward the reform of education. Flipped classroom is a kind of new teaching practice mode in the information age, especially the success of American flipped classroom teaching experiment, which makes flipped classroom become a hot research topic in the field. At present, the research on the flipped classroom is mainly focused on the successful case introduction, the construction of the teaching model and the part of the empirical research. In order to adapt to the development of the information age, this study attempts to further explore whether the flipped classroom model is applicable to primary school English teaching.In reading a lot of literatures at home and abroad, summarizing flipped classroom research, summarizing the flipped class origin,characteristics, domestic and foreign typical flipped classroom teaching model design, the practical application on the basis of relevant theories,this study tries to launch elementary school English flipped classroom teaching action research in Lanzhou City Qilihe primary school class eight,grade three. In the course of the study use action research as the main method, and the research on the common participation of teachers. Each spiral cycle includes four basic stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. Depth interviews were conducted with the students and the English teachers who participated in the action research after each round of flipped classroom instruction. Through constant reflection and review of the improvement of teaching practice, to further improve the effect of second, three rounds of action. After three rounds of action research,the researcher issued a valid questionnaire to 60 students in grade eight,grade three in Qilihe primary school, to investigate the students' perceptions of English flipped classroom.Through the preliminary attempt of the flipped classroom teaching,and action to the full participation the three rounds of action research in teaching, this study constantly improve the flipped classroom teaching process structure and class before learning materials in the design and practice of classroom teaching, eventually have reflection from the perspective of students, teachers and researchers of the flipped classroom teaching practice. Based on classroom observation and random interviews with students, to teachers in-depth interviews showed that flipped classroom teaching in the implementation process have some problems: difficult to change teachers' teaching methods and concepts;poor flipped classroom teaching effect; parents do not support the flipped classroom teaching etc.. In view of the existing problems, this paper puts forward the following suggestions: the change of teachers' ideas, the reform of teachers' teaching methods, the change of students' learning style, the reconstruction of curriculum presentation mode, the change of the parents' education concept.
