People, all living in a culture form; man, all creating a certain cultural patterns. Local culture is long in the local, long in the village, long in the people's life of this land. Local culture has its own characteristics connotation, appeared as a unique cultural flavor, it has a "nature and humanity" view of the universe, has a unique natural environment, has a distinctive holiday customs, folklore with local wisdom, has a simple kind of human feelings, has a long history of local sites and so on, forming a thick, earthy natural, honest warmth cultural attitude. This cultural trait is not only the village people's cultural wealth, but spiritual wealth of mankind as a whole, which is influenced by complex human nature and existence. Qian Mu regards rural characteristic is nature, stability, loneliness, and the characteristics of city is a culture, a large group of, activity between the two appears as the root and branch, the source and flow. We can say that local culture is the foundation of culture, and it is the origin of the human spirit to survive, to show the Chinese people's life style and the basic internal structure, meaning the value of their own existence.However, as China in the modernization process of industrialization and urbanization flag, the city became the main force modernization, rural state to follow the performance of the city, causing a huge difference between urban and rural development and separation. Village seemed to be synonymous with poverty and backwardness, barbarism and traditional, expressed as a stigma tendency to become more rural areas and economic concepts. Rural cultural significance becomes fragmented, marginalized presented to local culture. And local culture is closely connected with rural life growth of the children, and is the spiritual growth of cultural soil for rural children, both in rural human ecology and rural natural ecology having influence on rural children healthy growth. But the local culture disorder may cause a sense of rootlessness and sense of wandering of children mentally, and it is difficult to obtain stable self-sufficiency of personality. And education is to train human activity, leading an important guarantee for the healthy growth of children. At the same time, education is also a cultural "life mechanism", and is the way to be able to continue the development of culture. Education for rural children and local cultural development is very important.This study from the existence of local culture value as the starting point, a child's life growth as the foothold, with rural education ethnography research method, has chosen to Xinyang Liu village primary school in Henan Province as the fundamental point of the fieldwork, extended to the Liu village, the Yiu village primary school, Liu village in the county area to do the scene of the two and a half months of field research. By Liu village Primary school teachers and students in daily school life, Liu villagers and village children home life, village life in participatory observation, in-depth interviews, pictures photography collection, education and teaching experience, I gain first-hand real detailed field data. Based on the detailed field data and the accumulation of various types of literature, the thesis has carried on the elaboration, and the author discuss the real appearance of Liu village folk culture and folk culture whether to enter into the rural children education space, and call for the local culture as a rural children education shall be the basic value orientation, to writing as the basis, to build the frame structure of the paper.Rural children's education space from a broad point of view can be expressed in the village, the family, the school into three parts, and the village and family is the informal education on the education space, and school is the formal education on the education space, based on the education space and local cultural value situation to build content between this two clues. The first chapter is written in a present value of the local culture in the village, the family, school in educational environment, showing the local culture of silence and permeability.The second chapter is about rural children's value of experience and the statement of the local life, recognizing that rural children living in the local can not be completely separated and Local off alone into the school to go, we should face up to the survival of native social and cultural soil. Chapters III and IV mainly deeply describe the school and village, family of the two different nature and education status of three educational space, you can see clearly the local cultural education lacks a relatively independent development and integration of education condition, temporarily unable to get a conscious local culture education atmosphere. The fifth chapter is based on the loss of status of local culture in education, calling for the guardian of local culture should be concerned about the child's native soil cultural survival,should protect the existence of local culture itself development, should pay attention to cultivate rural children open inclusive, understanding their own growth of cultural mentality. The last chapter is a summary and reflection of the study, pointing out that the local culture in rural children education space is neglected, and the dilemma of isolation as well as to the value significance of rural children life: local culture has continuity, permeability, silent characteristic; local culture is the cultural origin of rural children mental education.
