The enthusiasm of learning Chinese all over the world has been increasingly rising along with the continuous enhancement of Chinese international prestige.NOCFL has established thousands of Confucius Institutes globally and sent volunteer Chinese teachers around the world as well to promote the development of international Chinese teaching according to request of development.The author has learned some study features of high school students through a year of teaching Chinese in Korea such as learning motivation and acceptance capability.The author inquired thirty-six volunteer Chinese teachers in CPIK program and collected data of vocabulary questions in daily homework and examinations of students through a year of teaching in Korea in order to look out the reason of vocabulary teaching problems and find out a suitable vocabulary teaching method for the Chinese learners at this stage through the analysis of current teaching situation.The introduction part introduces the research background,research purpose,literature review and the research method.The first chapter is the summary of current vocabulary teaching situation in regular high school in Korea.The author generalizes the studying condition of vocabulary in high school in Korea at the present stage through inquiries and surveys.The second chapter summarizes the vocabulary teaching issues in regular high school in Korea.The author sketched out the vocabulary teaching issues in regular high school in Korea at the present stage from the aspects of teachers,students and societies according to the results of enquiries and the teaching experience.The third chapter is the suggestion to the vocabulary teaching in regular high school in Korea.The author added several new methods to the vocabulary teaching such as words tagging for notional words and morpheme pedagogy,adjusting teaching method and arrange in accordance with study features and receptivity as well.Conclusion explains the main research achievements and some thoughts to the cooperating teaching method.The author hopes the research achievement of this paper would offer some help to the new Chinese teacher in CPIK program,provide evidence for Chinese teaching in Korea and intensify the theory of country-specific vocabulary teaching in external Chinese teaching.
