The Chinese character is a symbol of the record of the Chinese language,a foundation for the study of Chinese written language and a special part of the teaching of the foreign Chinese language.Unlike the Classical Chinese Curriculum of Korea,Teaching Chinese character in Korea is based on modern Chinese characters and aims to master the teaching activities of the Chinese character application skills.Influenced by the Classical Chinese Curriculum of Korea,Compared with countries with non-Chinese character culture circles,South Korea has its advantages in modern Chinese character teaching.The research on the current situation of Chinese character teaching in South Korea has positive significance,which can improve the teaching of Chinese characters in Korea and further improve the teaching of Chinese language in Korea.This paper mainly uses classroom observation,interview,questionnaire survey and statistical analysis to understand the current situation of Chinese character teaching in middle school in Korea from four aspects: teaching materials,schools,teachers and students.The data analysis found that in terms of teaching materials,the primary teaching materials commonly used in Korean middle schools emphasize phonetic grammar,ignore vocabulary Chinese characters,pay attention to hearing,hearing and reading,lack of demonstration and practice on Chinese character writing,lack of clear guidelines and teaching goals for Chinese character teaching,and teachers' side.There are differences and lack of communication in the teaching of Chinese characters,manifested as the subjective randomness of Chinese characters teaching,lack of necessary teaching feedback.On the students' side,the motivation of learning Chinese characters is not strong,the method of learning is simple,and the writing of Chinese characters often tends to be biased.Based on the existing problems,this paper proposes the following countermeasures:To guide the students to study actively and discover the characteristics of the Chinese character number system,pay attention to the basic knowledge of Chinese characters and the background of the deviation of Chinese characters,improve the teaching target of Chinese characters writing practice and feedback training block of Chinese characters.The teaching of Chinese character writing should be enriched,the teaching method of Chinese character writing is emphasized,and the teaching of Chinese character should be done according to the errors and errors existing in Chinese character writing.In the course of learning,students should use various methods to recognize Chinese character,establish individual Chinese character bias set and make full use of the network resources.
