China and South Korea have inseparable relations in many aspects such as politics,economy,culture and society.After the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea in 1992,the exchanges between the two countries in terms of talents and culture have also multiply soared.The Korean community is increasingly concerned about China,the enthusiasm for learning Chinese is growing,and the number of students is increasing.In order to further promote Chinese language teaching in Korea,the CPIK project(Chinese Program in Korea)came into being.In 2018,the author had the honor to become one of the many CPIK volunteer teachers,and conducted an 11-month Chinese language teaching at the Segok Middle School in Seoul,South Korea.In the process of teaching,the author combined the existing literature and practical work experience to design the questionnaire to investigate the conditions and effect of Chinese teaching in junior high school in Seoul in 2018.Through research process,it has been found that the problems existing in the teaching of Chinese in junior high school in Seoul and has tried to provide suggestion and solution to address these problems.The objective is mainly to improve the circumstance of Chinese teaching in middle schools in Seoul to move one step forward.The survey involved two types of subjects,one was the volunteer teacher who taught in the junior high school in Seoul in 2018,and the other was the junior Chinese learner in the CPIK project.The questionnaire was divided into four parts: teachers,students,teaching materials,curriculum and teaching.Teachers,textbooks,curriculum,and teaching were answered by volunteer teachers.The student questionnaire was answered by the learner.This paper has been divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the literature review ofpaper.It mainly introduces the background of Chinese teaching in Korea,the establishment of CPIK project and the current status of the project in Seoul area.The research status of previous Chinese language teaching and CPIK project in Korea,the purpose and significance of this paper And the research methods used in this paper,and the survey respondents are introduced in the research methods.The second chapter mainly designs the questionnaires for the implementation of CPIK project in Seoul Junior High School from four aspects: teachers,students,teaching materials,curriculum setting and teaching,then analyzes the data according to the results.The third chapter has been raised questions based on the data analysis of second chapter.Through the feedback results,the author puts forward the problems in the Chinese teaching of junior high school in Seoul from the above four aspects.Finally,in the conclusion of this article,summarize the 2018 junior high school Chinese teaching situation of CPIK project in Seoul,make suggestions for the further development of CPIK project in Seoul Junior High School,the briefly and objectively reviewed the results.Moreover shortcomings of this research.
