The ancient poetry is a shinning pearl during the Chinese history. It contains the history of the prosperity and decline, deducing the change and development of the poetry, and bearing the poet’s emotions and clutch. Learning poems is the important way to improve students’ cultural quality, as well as inheritance Chinese traditional culture. But now there are serious of problems in teaching and learning ancient poetry in high school,especially in the teaching content. The paper mainly discuss what content of the ancient poetry to teach in high school,how to put forward to the basic content of ancient poetry in literature appreciation and cultural inheritance. The paper select two outstanding Chinese teachers’ teaching case, also make analysis on the perspective of teaching content, try to give some help and inspiration for Chinese teachers.The paper includes three parts: introduction, text and conclusion.Introduction,simply states the research origin and significance,Combed the published papers or related research results which about the teaching ancient poetry in recent years,It can be divided into teaching idea of ancient poetry,the present situation,strategies,methods,teaching content and so on.At the same time,the introduction defining the core concepts of this article,such as Chinese teaching content and ancient poetry teaching content.The text consists of four chapters, they are:Chapter one mainly discuss the main problems in case analysis and comparative analysis,which on the teaching contents of ancient poetry in high school,such as the content of ancient poetry is registering rigid, relatively arbitrary,and lack of poetry stylistic features.Chapter two focus on the standard of ancient poetry in high school.Concrete from the high school Chinese curriculum standard years of 2011 which about the teaching goals and requirements、teaching and assessment suggestions of ancient poetry‘s.As well as the teaching materials、characteristics of ancient poetry and condition of students in high school.Chapter three is the most important of the paper. Aiming at the problem of the above analysis and the relevant theory and method,this chapter from the content of literature appreciation and cultural inheritance and discuss them in details.In literature appreciationthere are rhythm、key words、image、the technique of expression etc.At the same time from two aspects of cultural knowledge and cultural spirit to grasp the cultural heritage of ancient poetry.Chapter four selected Dong Yifei 、 Yu Yingchao two outstanding Chinese teachers’ teaching design and teaching activity,and analysis them on the perspective of teaching content,in order to get some useful and inspiration in teaching high school.The conclusion, outline of the main points and put forward prospect to the further research.
