The Study Of Social Work In Support Of Voluntary Service

Volunteer service abord which based on volunteerism has a long history.So far it has formed a pattern of Government-led,enterprise support,social paticipation,and volunteering plays an important and irreplaceable role during the development of economic and social.Volunteer service has also made considerable progress since 2008.Not only has it formed a way with Chinese characteristics,but also played an important role in the area of pension,handicap, helping poverty, trapped and so on.However,despite it experienced nearly a decade "leapfrog" development,it still cannot meet the real needs of China's volunteer service,and compared with Wertern developed countries,there are also obvious gaps.From the development and trends of global volunteering, "social woker with volunteer" has basically become a fundammental concept of volunteerism for development and practices.From the point of social work support,this paper analyzes the relationship and feasibility of social work in support of voluntary service;combing the foreign practices and theory of social work to support voluntary service.Then,this paper illustrates the current problems in the voluntary area of social work suppprt,taking an example of a foster center in Nanjing.On this basis,Paper demonstrates the path of social work in support of voluntary service from three dimensions.Namely:the role of social workers in the support system,including incentives,psychological,financial,legal;the method of social work in the support system,including case work,group work and community work;and how social work support the process of volunteer service,including recruitment,training,mangement and assessment.
