| At present, the rapid development of modern information technology, the new media is changing college students way of thinking, ways of communication, expression and interpersonal style, their world outlook, outlook on life, values are deeply on the brand of network. We must have a clear understanding to the new media both for the students’ study and life provides a lot of convenience, but also to the hostile forces of the decadent ideological infiltration, the spread of harmful information and criminals and criminal activities provided an opportunity. New media as the function of ideological education platform of university students has not been fully excavated. This requires that workers at all levels must conform to the new trend of the rapid development of modern information technology, it is necessary to be good at management, but also good at using new means to carry out online ideological education and strive to improve the coverage and influence of the ideological education of college students.Based on the historical materialism, this paper analyzes the concept and characteristics of College Students’ Ideological Education from the perspective of new media. With dialectical materialism as the theoretical basis, the ideological education of college students on the positive impact and negative impact on College students. Using the methods of interview and questionnaire survey, the current situation of College Students’ mainstream ideology education in several universities in H city and the current ideological understanding of college students were investigated. Finally, it puts forward the measures and ways to strengthen the education of the mainstream ideology. From the mainstream of traditional universities ideological education main channel construction, the mainstream ideology education network construction in the new media environment, new media multidimensional construct mainstream ideology education platform, improve the discourse mechanisms to strengthen education for College Students mainstream ideology to protect mainstream ideological security. |
