Objective To analyze the thinking ability structure of TCM for TCM specialized students and to compile the evaluation questionnaire about thinking ability structure of TCM for TCM specialized students.Methods To find the relevant literature researches and to finish the thinking elements of TCM specialized students. According to traditional Chinese medicine professional students thinking ability, the elements of previous research such as written questionnaire, to forecast test.For the results of questionnaire survey, to elementarily study the thinking ability structure of TCM by the way of factor analysis.At last,we use formal questionaire to measure.Results The subjective questionnaire that evaluates the thinking ability of TCM for TCM specialized students consists of four sub-questionnaires. The first one is composed of two factors, the second consists of four factors, the third consists of four factors and the fourth is composed of six factors. The overall reliability of the subjective questionnaire is above 0.9, and the every sub-questionnaire is 0.9 or so. The objective questionnaire sifts repeatedly that evaluates the thinking ability of TCM for TCM specialized students and the difficulty of that is in the medium range. So, the two questionnaires and each sub-questionnaire have a significant correlation.Conclusion The traditional Chinese medicine thinking ability structure model is initially formed, the traditional Chinese medicine students thinking ability of TCM evaluation questionnaire. The questionnaire is composed of the subjective part and the objective part, that evaluates the thinking ability of TCM for TCM specialized students.The analysis of reliability and correlation indicates that the result of the subjective questionnaire about reliability is better and the objective questionnaire can be as a good criterion for subjective questionnaire.
