Objective:To reveal influence of Treatise on Febrile Diseases curriculumon TCM undergraduate’s clinical diagnostic thinking.Methods:1.Literature study. Summarize previous comments on Liu Jingsyndrome-differentiation and treatment, explore Treatise on FebrileDiseases’characteristics of thinking mode, representation law and the impacton clinical diagnosis thinking.2.An empirical study.(1) Through statistical"The selected readings of Treatise on Febrile Diseases" course test scoresaverage level, filter the2009level of TCM (seven-year) undergraduates, toselect the top60students in group A, the bottom60students in group B, asthe two experimental groups; to select randomly60students of2010level ofTCM (seven-year) undergraduates in group C, as a control group.(2) To grantthe the self-made clinical diagnostic thinking questionnaire to theexperimental groups and control group, statistical data analysis afterrecovery.Results:1. In the diagnosis of disease process, girls’ score in theprojects of identifying disease pathogenesis, disease location, diseaseresistance and differential diagnosis of disease are significantly higherthan boys; the scores in the two projects of identifying disease pathogenesisand disease resistance between group A and B, C group are significantly different.2. In the diagnosis of the exogenous diseases and internal diseases,both of the scores of group A and group B are higher than group C, group Ahigh scores than group B, and the scores are obviously different in exogenousdiseases.3. In the diagnosis of well-structured and ill-structured medicalrecords, the scores of group A are higher than group B, the scores ofexperimental groups are higher than the control group; in the diagnosis ofdifferent levels of medical records, group A scored highest, secondly groupB, group C lowest.Conclusion:1. After studying Treatise on Febrile Diseases,learners’clinical diagnosis thinking will form the characteristics ofintegrity, comparative and dynamic, and pay the most attention to the diseasepathogenesis and pathogeny, then comprehensively analyse with the diseaselocation, disease resistance, disease transmission, etc.2. The clinicaldiagnosis modes constructed by TCM undergraduates after studying Treatise onFebrile Diseases, are mainly system dialectical mode, index dialectical modeand dialectical unity system mode.3. The clinical diagnostic thinking ofstudents highly characteristic of TCM after studying Treatise on FebrileDiseases, they aren’t been westernized in spite of learning the westernmedicine-related courses.
