With the increasing national strength of China, and the increasing exchanges between China and Thailand, Chinese teaching has become an important content of language education in Thailand, what’s more, Chinese is very popular in Thailand. A large number of volunteers are send to Thailand for Chinese teaching annually. As a result, research on Chinese teaching in Thailand in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is increasing quickly. According to the teaching experience of author in Confucius Institute of Betong, combing with the theoretical research, living by the Confucius Institute of Betong in Thailand, and complementing to the ZhongHua school, the essay makes an deep analysis of the Chinese teaching to point with surface in these two Chinese institutions, analyzing the existing problems in Chinese teaching of zero basic primary school students and putting forward corresponding countermeasures.According to the study, the author found that the subject matter of zero basis students in primary school in Confucius Institute of Betong can be concluded in four aspects: irrationality of curriculum offering, imperfection of teaching staff, unreasonableness of teaching material selection, singleness of teaching methods. These problems result in low interest in learning Chinese, low participation in class interaction and the inefficient teaching. Considering the problems above, the author puts forward the following measures: improving the curriculum system, perfecting the teaching staff, standardizing Chinese teaching material, completing multimedia teaching and applying multiple teaching methods, improving classroom teaching arrangement.The essay consists five chapters. Chapter one introduces the background, purpose, subjects and methods. Chapter two is the literature review of this paper, from the study of curriculum, the study of the education of teacher, the study of textbooks, the study of teaching methods, the study of teaching of zero basic, the study of teaching status of Thailand, make an analysis, reading, arrangement and evaluation. Chapter three, makes an analysis of the teaching status of the Betong Confucius Institute in Thailand. According to the teaching status of the Betong Confucius Institute in Thailand, through theoretical research, methods of questionnaire, the actual classroom observation and interview, integrating into the practice in teaching Chinese as a foreign language at the same time, from the curriculum, teachers, textbooks, teaching methods, students, looking for the factors influencing real educational effect and learning effect of the zero basis students in the primary school in Thailand and carrying on the induction summary. Chapter four taking case of Confucius Institute of Betong in Thailand, puts forward corresponding solutions aiming at the problems of Chinese teaching to primary students without any foundation of Chinese in Thailand, and drawing from teaching experience of the predecessors and the practice in teaching process. The last chapter is the conclusion, make a conclusion of this paper, analyzes the limitations of this paper, pointed out although there are a lot of problems in Teaching of Chinese to Beginning Learner Students of Thai Primary, with effort these problems will be solved and the future of teaching Chinese as a second language will be more brilliant.
