In the process of promoting rule-of-law process of social governance and constructing socialist nomocracy nation,the social environment of the rule of law must be considered firstly,in which the citizen consciousness of the rule of law is a vital problem.In October2014,the fourth plenary of the 18 th session of the central committee of the communist party of China put forward to strengthen law-related education of primary and secondary schools,that citizens' consciousness of the rule of law can be shaped by facilitating students' law-awareness education in primary and secondary schools. This paper briefly describes the significance and contents of law-awareness education of junior middle schools in our country.Based on the questionnaire survey results of three junior middle school students' law-awareness on one county in Shandong province, we have understood the present situation of law-awareness education.Through the analysis of the questions and reasons that exist in law-awareness education of our country at present,this article proposes several rationalization proposals to improve the effect of law-awareness education in junior middle schools.The first chapter introduces the significances and goal orientations of law-awareness education in secondary schools.Law-consciousness education of junior middle school is helpful to achieve the overall goal of comprehensively promoting theRule of Law,to implement the concept of human-oriented scientific development and to impel integration of the rule of law in social management.That does conform to the incremental development path of chinese nomocracy. As the bodies of a legal state,junior middle school students accept law-related education in accordance with the law of cognitive development,which has positive meanings for their to form outlooks on life and values. To undertake to educate studends to establish law consciousness in the junior middle school stage should make personal social nature according with the requirements of the construction of socialist nomocracy nation and coinciding with the structure of chinese law culture,so that students can obtain law-related knowledge,establish legal consciousness and shape behavior habits.The second chapter mainly discusses the required matters of law-awareness education.According to Zhang Wenxian's viewpoint of chinese law culture connotation,this paper argues that law-awareness education includes six kinds of ideology,which are legal subject consciousness,concept of legal authority,sense of justice,awareness of liberty,power ideology,mentality of equality.This thesis deals with six kinds of ideology by using modern juristal theory.The third chapter summarizes the current situation of junior middle school students' law-awareness,which is based on the empirical research on one county in Shandong province.From the survey results,we found that students' congnition of law-awareness is not perfectly match with modern rule-of-law spirit,there being some separation phenomenon and inconsistent phenomenon between the two.The survey results show that the level of legal subject consciousness and concept of legal authority is poorest and that the performance of power ideology and mentality of equality is relatively good.The findings also show that students' rule-of-law ideology is influenced by the traditional legal culture.The fourth chaper sums up the problems existing in current law-awareness education in junior middle schools and points out the causes of the problems by observing the results of questionnaire survey and the interview materials.As matters stand presently,existence disadvantages of the law-related education of junior middleschool include weak awareness of the law-related education,unscientific law-related education mode,declinational principles of law-related education and so on.The main reasons of these troubles are low level of rule-of-law process of education,lake of law-related education evaluation mechanism,insufficient law-related education resources and limitation of traditional chinese leagal culture.The fifth chaper puts forword some suggestions for law-awareness education in view of existence questions and reasons.Firstly,all actions in the field of education should be regulated by law system,and then the rule-of-law process of education can get its step.Secondly,the law-related education evaluation mechanism should be established to fulfil tasks about monitoring of law-related education and providing countermeasures and suggestions.Thirdly,the concerned departments should reform actual law-related education mode.They should pay attention to the combination of intellectual education and ideology education,legislative subject participatory education,generalized law-related education channels and extensive law-related education human resources.Fourthly,the goverment sector should set up special fund for law-related education and provide financial support.
