Hunan Province "Martial Art Into Campus" Activity Of Primary And Secondary Schools To Carry Out The Present Situation And Development Countermeasure Research

The research and promotion of the "martial arts into the campus" activities aim to promote physical and mental health of young people, popularize Chinese martial arts, and develop traditional Chinese culture.The general office of the Ministry of education and general Office of State Sports General Administration sent on the notice about the implementation and promotion of < the series of martial arts in primary and secondary schools > in August 2010. From 2010 September 1, the activity of "martial arts into the campus " has been expanded among elementary and middle schools across the country.Wushu is a kind of sports that has a strong characteristics of Chinese culture and high social value. It is an important part of traditional Chinese culture and history. It is also one of the treasures during five thousand years in Chinese history. At the same time, Wushu is not resticted by place, climate and physical factors. So it is very popular among people all over the world. As traditional Chinese sports, Wushu is widely carried out in primary and secondary schools. This event can not only cultivates students, but also is a better response to the "national fitness" call. Young people are the most important and fundamental groups to carry forward and inherit the traditional Wushu culture.In this paper, I use the method of literature, interview, logical analysis and other methods. Through looking up a large number of various materials about “martial arts into the campus ", investigation of a number of primary and secondary schools, in reference to the guidance of all relevant papers and under the help of the teacher, I make the questionnaires among leadership, teachers and students. By communications with experts, questionnaire survey, and analysis of the results, I found out the results. The results of the study show that: The forms of activities about" martial arts into the campus " are various, but the learning content is non-uniform, and martial arts competitions is less. Authorities and schools take no account of this activity, teacher's professional level is low, and training activities are less. Students' understandings of Wushu are improper, schools are lack of the facilities, propaganda is not enough and so on.On the basis of exploration, I put forward some more constructive suggestions, so that spirit of Wushu and its cultural charm has a better development and heritage, which makes students healthier.
