In the process of current Chinese classroom teaching in junior middle school,life-related has become a very important teaching orientation. Reading is always the priority among Chinese teaching in junior middle school, which is concerned much by teachers and students. Reading is the foundation of improving students' expression ability. It's helpful to develop the thinking of students and improve the comprehensive quality of them by enhancing the close contact between Chinese reading teaching in junior middle school and life. Life-related reading teaching refers to such kind of teaching that teachers contact class with daily life; properly revise its text and use life-related teaching forms and methods in the process of teaching in Chinese reading teaching activities according to their existing knowledge and experience of life. Thus we can enhance students' reading level and improve the quality of Chinese reading teaching. Life-related reading teaching has these characteristics: subjective;situational; and contemporary etc. It also has some basic education and teaching theories. They are people-oriented theory; constructive theory; theory of life education; and acceptance of aesthetic theory. The relationship between Chinese and life; Chinese and Chinese teaching; and Chinese reading teaching and life are inseparable in the process of teaching.From the perspective of life-related Chinese reading teaching in junior high school, we find that the problems mainly lie in the following aspects by its actual situation of the survey: the lack of life-related reading in teaching goals; the separation of reading text and life; the singularity and closeness of teaching means;and the insufficiency of students reading resources and quantity. Meanwhile, we conclude three main causes of above phenomena: examination-oriented education gives pressure to students; teachers don't pay much attention to living resources and they don't attach much importance to cultivate humanistic spirit of students.In view of the existing insufficiency of life-related Chinese reading teaching in junior high school. We should strengthen the implement of life-related Chinese reading teaching in junior high school mainly from the several following aspects: the first is the establishment of life-related reading teaching idea; the second is theconstruction of life-related reading teaching model; the third is the expansion of life-related reading teaching ways.
