This paper selected the words in three junior one English text books: the 1978 version after the reform and opening-up, the 2000 version of the new century, and the latest 2012 version as the research object. From the Angle of common word choice and word choice alone, with the two big aspects, quality and quantity of the three different textbooks choice of words and new words choreography to a certain extent.Based on the words in three versions the textbooks and on the analysis of the similarities and differences, the author puts forward the individual thinks some regularity of three textbooks when write the new words. On the basis of the advantages and the disadvantages of the three textbooks, the author puts forward the writing for general textbook vocabulary and gives some suggestions in terms of specific teaching vocabulary.In the introduction of the paper, the author sums up the reason of my choice, literature review, research purpose and significance, research ideas and methods, and the concept definition and theoretical basis. Constitute the basic structure of this thesis research and the overall train of thought. Through the outline of the general situation of the development research of English teaching in our country in different periods.the main part of this article. Through the three books classification statistics of all the new words and word choice and word choice alone analysis research, the author sums up some regulars on textbook when cracks are obtained and the rule of the teaching material choice of words.Aiming at the shortcomings of the words in the textbooks: 1. The new words in conformity with the specific words 2. Part of the teaching material of the new words after class arrangement. User's Suggestions to the teaching material: 1. to replace the new words and practice method is put forward 2. Substitution practice method, for example. The author gives some suggestions to the textbook editors and the textbook users, from the perspectives of vocabulary teaching.The deficiency of this paper and the development prospects on the rules of vocabularies on junior middle school English teaching materials in the different periods 1.
