The Study Of Intervening On The Life Adaption Of The Widowed Urban Elderly

Under the influence of an aging population and urbanization,the number of the widowed is increasing in the city,so there are many kinds of questions along with it as well.The death of couple is the emergency that can not be avoided,there is no doubt that losing the caring partner is a huge blow for the personal life to the aged.The purpose of this paper is to establish a scientific and professional study programs of widowed elderly case,to help the widowed ages walk out of the predicament circumstances,and ultimately achieve life adaptation.The significance of this study is to enrich and develop the research on the urban widowed elderly life adaptation problem in the life work practice.This paper uses the research methods of action research,the interview method as the main method of collecting data.Taking an urban widowed woman as an example,with the theory of strengths perspective,using the way of hope flower field to intervene the study of widowed elderly life adaptation.The chapter one is about the background,significance of research,the literature review,concept definition and so on.The chapter two analyzes the living adaptation performance and the reasons of an urban widowed elderly who takes the initiative to seek help, and then expounds the basis evidence of selecting the living adaptation issue intervention of urban widowed elderly as the perspective. Besides, in the third chapter, intervention of the service objects' living adaptation is explored, including the intaking,estimate,plan,intervention,assessment and closing the case.The chapter four is mainly discussing the reflection and improved schedule of a case work.The fifth chapter is the summary and discussion of the thesis.By using case work method, the paper takes the service objects as a typical case study, so as to help the service objects to get rid of the dilemma of the death of spouse and actively adapt to the social life. The author hopes that the social work intervention in life adaptation of widowed urban elderly can provide reference for the intervention methods about urban widowed elderly in the future.
