After making a study of P.E. teaching practice in five colleges such as Loudi Vocational College, Hunan Network Vocational College, Hunan Industrial Vocational College,Yongzhou Vocational College and Yueyang Vocational College, the author finds that the method is desirable and the way is feasible when combining sports classroom teaching with exercises out of class, comprehensively evaluating the leaner 's grades. The writer uses the ways of literature material, questionnaire survey, interview, logical analysis and mathematical statistics to analyses the current situation of P.E. internal and external teaching mode in the above five vocational colleges. It is imperative to make scientific P.E teaching plan and criteria, making the students who have the same interest go into the same class, combining with network technology to set up P.E. network class and put the world College City into use. It is also important to choose suitable project and evaluable mode, paying more attention to connecting study process and skill test. The author puts forward his own ideas. Firstly, integration teaching mode in higher vocational colleges is the direction of reform and development of P.E. teaching. Secondly, it is imperative to strengthen classroom teaching and connect with the guidance of exercises out of class. Thirdly, it is essential to set up the thought of life-time sports, pay close attention to the teaching of elective courses and stimulate the sound development of athletic clubs. It is also vital to combine the characteristics of students' career, conform the content of teaching, reform the pattern of examination, establish and perfect the evaluating system of physical education teaching in higher vocational colleges. What counts is constructing campus P.E. culture, making prompt reports of college club activities and typical events by using picture posters, campus broadcasts, newspapers and campus network. It may stimulate their enthusiasm. They will take an active part in physical exercises instead of doing it passively. Higher vocational colleges should popularize P.E. options teaching, carry out 2+3 mode in the round. They should not only have at least two periods of P.E. class but also some important after-class activities. It is essential to have scientific assessment criterion of P.E., make clear the content and demands of examination, lay emphasis on estimating study process of the students dynamically, combine algate evaluation with course evaluation, quantitative evaluation with qualitative analysis, give great impetus to the isolating of teaching and examination, have physical health examination regularly every year, report the result to the database of the education department and inform the students of their own result data. Rely on important stadiums, facilities and current situations, do the job soundly in conformity with their physical truth and ensure to have one or two hours for them to do exercise every day.The research shows that forming the sense of life-time physical education is not accomplishment in an action. It is required that the teaching staff, especially P.E. teachers and all sectors of society should have hands in it and support it.
