With the development of science and technology, China's property high consumption and serious pollution and other phenomena make the environment we live in every day undergoing tremendous changes. China has strongly advocated the construction of a resource-saving society, promote energy conservation at the same time, we should make in art education students to establish "turning waste into treasure" of consciousness, cultivate good habits of thrift, so that students feel the turning waste into treasure charm, stimulate students' environmental awareness.In this paper, questionnaires, analyze the feasibility of waste materials in elementary school fine arts teaching, from teachers, students, teaching three aspects of "waste materials" redesign current situation Primary School Art Teaching research.And in the teaching practice, the proposed waste materials in elementary art curriculum and policy. Let art curriculum pupils closer to life in the study "waste materials" re-engineering process to fully mobilize students to actively create and promote the development of students 'creative thinking ability, establish a reasonable evaluation system, strengthen the development of school-based teaching materials to help enhance students' environmental awareness, promote the reform of elementary school fine arts teaching.
