Performance appraisal is an assessment of performance evaluation management system, in the past period of time,it evaluates the teachers' work behavior and work with performance system,and through evaluating the incentives of teachers and constraint function,we have a positive guiding value to the college teachers,working behavior and work performance in the future.The results of the college teachers,performance appraisal is to reflect the past work, thus it can provide the basis for the assessment of the object ? material rewards and titles of honor.This paper analyzes management system which is in the Hunan XY academy, establish a scientific and fair performance appraisal system using KPI performance appraisal method. The main contents include five aspects: Assessment of University Teachers' Performance Review, the theory and method of KPI performance appraisal, the status and problems of Hunan XY academy performance appraisal, the KPI strategy of Hunan Province XY academy performance appraisal and the suggestion of reforming XY Institute Performance Assessment.University Teacher Performance Assessment measure teachers' performance results by selecting the KPI indicators,determining the index weight and formating the final KPI system.While refining teachers' objectives, and then it can brake down into specific operational objectives,making it the basis of performance management. This article attempts to start from the key performance indicators, combining with the instance of Hunan XY Institute teacher performance appraisal, it will be closely integrated KPI and performance appraisal together, and then do the practical and theoretical exploration. The KPI evaluation system contributes to manage the performance of University teachers,guide the teachers to the direction of long-term development of the academy and closely link the own development with the overall development strategy. According to the study to the XY faculty performance appraisal management, and basing on enhancing the faculty performance appraisal quality and practicality, it puts forward policy proposals from the follow five aspects: the security conditions,perfecting the performance appraisal system, blending the Institute of culture into the performance appraisal management system, strengthening the modern applications and the incentive role of teacher performance appraisal management.
