With the development of world economic integration, the quality of higher education and international influence continues to improve, and the country has attracted many students to exchange visits and studies. Guangdong Province, as the South Gate of China's opening to the outside world, has the most economic and trade cooperation with the countries along the Belt and Road in China. Its long history of civilization, rich cultural heritage, and developed economic strength has attracted an increasing number of foreign students. The expansion of the scale of students in Universities in Guangdong has brought opportunities, but also challenges. In this trend, it is necessary for the Guangdong provincial colleges to enhance cross cultural management. College Students' cross cultural management means using management principles in adjusting and influencing on people's idea and behavior through the understanding and analysis of different culture to overcome cultural conflicts between different culture background between students and students, students and management personnel and thus achieve the aim of school education.On the basis of data analysis, this paper tries to understand the size, structure and distribution of foreign students in Guangdong Province. The cultural differences of the university students in Guangdong province are analyzed by using the theory of cultural dimensions. Through the study of the current situation of the management of university students in Guangdong Province, the problems and reasons of the management of foreign students in Guangdong province were put forward. Questionnaire is used to learn about the degree of satisfaction that foreign students hold towards the management of Guangdong colleges. On basis of this, the study tries to discuss the optimization strategy from the perspective of cross culture management, in the aim of improving the quality as well as enhancing the competitiveness of foreign student management in Guangdong colleges in the service market.
