Study On Cross-cultural Management For International Students

In recent years, because of the continuous development of higher education in our country, especially the education in international students in the universities and colleges all over the country is developing faster, the number of international students growing rapidly, thus the education in international students is facing opportunities and challenges. International students come from different countries and nations, having different religious and growing environment. It is easy to cause the conflict between international student management and international students because of the different cultural background in daily management.Under the different nations and different cultural background, according to the cultural characteristics of different culture, cross-cultural management take measure of tolerance, overcome the cultural diversity which leads to the cultural conflict and obstacles, to form efficient management and achieve the objectives. The thesis takes management of international students in international education college, Jiangxi JXT University as an example, according to the analysis of the cases of conflict, finding out the deep-seated reasons. Based on the related theories and characteristics of cross-cultural management, the thesis start with both international student management and international students put forward the problem solving strategy and implementing measures for cross-cultural management. The thesis to seek a way of learning mutual cultural, strengthening cross-cultural awareness, enhancing cultural tolerance for each other, to reducing the conflict, to improving the level of management, achieving efficient management.
