Since the new curriculum reform,,every high school political teacher adhering to the idea of the development of students has made efforts to explore a new teaching model for all round development of the situation.In practice,we find: through the case teaching,the role of teachers and students and the attitude of teaching change with it.Under the case leading,students are free to express their ideas and they can feel that teachers have a high expectation for them.Case teaching method has lots of advantages: like living close to the students,appropriate interaction between students and teachers,conducive to the cultivation of ability,improving classroom efficiency.So it is widely recognized and used in the class by the majority of teachers.So the case teaching method is not an optional method but the basic mode of teaching and the inevitable choice.Teachers can flexibly choose the number of cases according to teaching aims and teaching time in case teaching.Teachers adopt common and easy to operate methods to settle a knowledge point: namely ‘a case of a reason'.Some teachers have accumulated rich experience and continuously innovated operation methods in many teaching practice.Meanwhile,they have begun to have a class by using a case to run through the entire class in practice teaching: namely ‘a case in the end'.Though the method of teaching ‘a case in the end' has not formed the orthodox idea up to now,it is the expansion of the case teaching method from the form.At home and abroad on the case teaching research has achieved remarkable achievement,which provides a reference for us to carry out ‘a case in the end'.At present,we have some attempts in the teaching method of ‘a case in the end' in high school politics class.Though some achievements have been made,it is not particularly mature from the whole.We look forward to summing up experience and promoting the teaching method ‘a case in the end' on the basis of constant practice.In the teaching practice,we find paying attention to the following five aspects: First,combing the contents of the integration of teaching materials and grasping the main context from the macro.Second,set reasonable teaching goals.Write teaching goals according to contents of teaching materials combined with exploration examples from the subjectivity,the specificity the situation.Third,select teaching cases which should be carefully selected from the angle of authenticity,timeliness,interest and so on.Fourth,set valid problems.A good question can be directly asked for teaching goals,but also it can be in the phenomenon,the accident,the story,the reality of the case.Fifth,reflecting and summarizing the teaching process.Reflect from the target description,case selection,the problem setting.The results of questionnaire show that the application of the teaching method of ‘a case in the end' is popular among the students in politics class in Jin Ling middle school in Rushan.It can improve students' learning interest and be accepted,create strong cooperation atmosphere.Of course,there are some problems that need to be concerned or solved in the future during the process of carrying out the teaching method of ‘a case in the end' in politics class in Jin Ling middle school in Rushan.For example,teachers' literacy is not high,implementation is not enough,and case material is not rich,etc.For these issues,it is also required to take positive measures in order to get perfect.In a word,although the application of the teaching method ‘ a case in the end ' in senior high school politics class has certain achievement,if the case teaching method wants to be widely used,it need to constantly practice,summarize the experience,benefit by mutual discussion,mutual exchange of needed products.
