In track and field Chinese students are lack competition to Europe and the United States students due to physical quality that the research and innovation of teaching methods for Chinese students is particularly important.Numerous educators continue to study the problems in education, and explore new teaching ideas and methods.Track and field is an important part of the professional curriculum system of physical education in China, in the traditional teaching method, in order to pursue efficiency and reduce the time and human resources, usually a teacher is also responsible for a number of classes, and the number of each class usually uneven, that the teacher choice of teaching methods and teaching content usually is the same. However, due to the students' intelligence level, technical level and physical aspects of individual differences, in the course of the class, each student to master the track and field technology, ability to understand the culture of track&field is not the same, some of the students can quickly grasp the teacher granted, and eager to learn new the content, but because of the teaching outline progress is more slowly, these students think it is too simple and it's lack of challenge, easily lead losing interest in it,and some of the poor foundation students may feel that the content of the technical is too difficulty, for their acceptance that they may could not keep up with the progress of teaching. As a result, they may have fail to grasp the teaching content in each class, with the in-depth study, their interest in learning will decline. Chinese cmpetence education requires according to the individual differences of students according to their aptitude, develop the students' interests and expertise, and tap their potential. When traditional teaching method meeting the whole class, it is difficult to solve the problems in those few students, ignoring the personality development, resulting in the decrease of teaching quality. Stratified teaching method In the course of track and field is useful to overcome the disadvantages, arranging different teaching contents to different levels of students and using different teaching methods to develop different teaching objectives. The students are treated differently, individualized education, make students of different levels to learn differently.This paper is combined of the layering teaching method and the track and field sports teaching. In Wuhan Institute of physical education for the class of 2015 sports education professional basketball two classes students as the experimental object, the back gliding shot put the track and field course as an example of hierarchical teaching method experiment. Using the method of literature, expert interviews, questionnaire survey method, teaching experiment and mathematical statistics, on the basis of "individualized" teaching philosophy, combined with relevant theoretical knowledge, study of hierarchical teaching method in the teaching of physical education major in Colleges and universities athletics course implementation effectiveness.After the end of the experimental, analysis the experimental group and control group, the experimental data have showed that experimental group and control group of special physical quality and learning ability in before and after the experiment there was no significant difference, but in the technical rating grades and athletic performance, the value of learning the there was a significant difference. Experimental results show that:1. In the use of layering teaching method in the experimental group, different levels of students are able to improve their performance in the training of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. At the same time, in the use of the traditional teaching method of the control group, the result of the improvement of the situation is not ideal, especially in the exercise of technical aspects of the experimental group is more obvious.2.The students in the experimental group through the experiment of stratified teaching to enhance their learning ability, mental capacity, competition consciousness and self-confidence. In contrast, the improvement of the control group was not obvious, its reason is the disadvantages of traditional education.3. In the course of track and field implementation of layered teaching degree are more close to the students their own condition, they can recognition and acceptance of the stratified teaching actively.4. Layered teaching emphasis on students' subjectivity, distinguish the individual differences of students, it is more in line with the requirements of quality education, conform to the education development.
