The Research Of Soft Cultural Quality Of Universities In China

The In current world,when people analyze a country's comprehensive power,not only about the power of the country's economy,military force,resources,technology's power,but also the power presented by the country's regime,culture and ideology.The former part is called “hard-power”,the latter part is called “soft-power”.The “soft-power”,actually,is just the attraction reflected from the country's culture,the concept of value,regime and several aspects,it's an influence reflected from the attraction how to realize their aim.In 21 st century,the country's competition is switching from hard-power's competition to soft-power's competition.Many countries in the world have formulated their plan to enhance the soft-power.China also proposed a strategy to construct a powerful cultural country,in order to enhance our soft-power.University as the institution of cultivating talents,the center of scientific and technological innovation,the important base of socialism ideological knowledge.It also plays an important role in the national cultural soft-power strategy.The university is not only the important embodiment of national cultural soft-power,but also the frontier of the country's cultural soft-power competition,and it's also an important platform for enhancing the national cultural soft-power.Since the reform and opening up,China has made remarkable achievements on the hard-power of higher education,but soft-power construction has not been paid enough attention,the on-going development is weak.So the construction of universities' cultural soft-power becomes an unavoidable subject in the 21 st century for Chinese higher education.This paper analyzes the importance of the university cultural construction in the strategic point of view on promoting the national cultural soft-power.Based on the investigation and research,this paper analyzes and probes on the present situation of Chinese university cultural soft-power construction,the problems and the causes,and the theory on university construction of cultural soft-power.This paper also provides some valuable thinking for the practice of university cultural soft-power construction.Hope the study on the construction of university cultural soft-power from the theoretical and practical level will enhance the national cultural soft-power construction and achieve the great renaissance of the Chinese nation.This paper elaborates our country's university cultural soft-power construction from four aspects.The first part,it elaborates the background and significance on selecting the topic,and summarized study from both domestic and foreign cultural soft power research;the second part,it's the definition of related concepts,it probes the theoretical basis of the university cultural soft power construction and analyze the experience and revelation of foreign university cultural soft-power construction,it also elaborates the necessity and importance of the construction of university cultural soft-power;the third part,it analyzes the current situation of our country university cultural soft-power construction,through the questionnaire and comparative analysis,it explores the problems and causes in the construction of Chinese university cultural soft-power;the fourth part,it proposes countermeasures,and offers the implementation path to enhance the cultural soft-power of university in China.
