Based on the overrall environment of the contemporary background,the author take the current traditional cultural quality of primary school students as the research objective.This paper proposes the purpose and significant value of implementing the education of traditional Chinese culture in the primary school stage by deep analysis and investigation.By using questionnaire method and comparative method,the research results have been analyzed and studied.The theoretical part mainly study the characteristics and value of traditional culture education in the primary school.From the principal contradiction and basic task of the primary education,from the characteristics,contents and principles etc.of the primary school excellent traditional culture,discussing the characteristics of traditional culture education in primary school.From the student value and from the society value of primary school traditional culture education,discussing the value of the primary school traditional culture education.The empirical part investigate the status of Wuxi traditional culture and education through the method of student questionnaire and social survey.Focused on the purpose of education,educational content,educational means and teaching level status,finding out some problems of traditional cultural education in the primary school based on the current status analysis.Now the content of the primary school traditional culture education are limited;the related educational resources are quite absent;enducation material types are quite simple;it is hard to meet the requirement of the primary school traditional culture education.Finally,the author conclude that the main causes of the low level of the primary school traditional culture education are from the lack of the understanding of traditional culture education in primary school.On the basis of theoretical and empirical research,proposing the strategies for improving the effectiveness of traditional culture education of primary school.From the curriculum construction,the teaching material,the curriculum setup and related subjects,discussing the strategy of school curriculum construction.From the school environment culture,spiritual culture etc.,discussing the strategy of the culture construction strategy.Finally discussing the strategies of teachers team building and administrators.
