Chinese character is an ancient and magical character,it passes through the barrier of time,faithfully records the long history of the Han nationality,carrying the civilization of the Chinese nation up and down five thousand years.After the baptism of the years,relatively stable to maintain their inherent characteristics,more and more show its indomitable vitality.The unique appearance of Chinese characters provides us with a wide space for the study of Chinese culture.The study of Chinese in primary school begins with literacy,and the importance of Chinese characters as a bridge to understand Chinese culture is self-evident for Chinese teaching.But with regard to the information we have learned,a large proportion of primary school Chinese teachers know little about the cultural characteristics of Chinese characters.They simply use Chinese characters as a writing symbol and a reading tool,because the impact of globalization,Some foreign languages,such as English,have a strong impact on Chinese,which makes us understand and learn Chinese characters correctly and face a more complicated situation.In recent years,it has become the common understanding of all people to inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture.Therefore,the article takes the cultural inheritance as the starting point,and selects the five dimensions of the culture,the food culture,the construction culture,the morality and the etiquette culture,the sacrificial ceremony and the custom culture in the Chinese traditional culture.On the basis of these five dimensions,some Chinese characters are selected from the thesaurus of the Chinese textbooks of the PEP edition to analyze and explain the cultural information contained in them,so as to show that the Chinese characters learned in the primary school stage contain rich cultural connotations.And the cultural content of these Chinese characters can be conveyed to students through literacy teaching.Next,taking the cultural nature as the scale,we carefully observe the current situation of literacy teaching in the concrete teaching practice,and find that in the process of inheriting the traditional culture,literacy teaching exists in the process of freely disassembling the character-shape interpretation culture and the teaching method being single,ignore cultural heritage and other issues.The paper further analyzes the causes of the cultural deficiency in the current primary school Chinese literacy teaching,including the simplification of the Chinese characters,the single evaluation of the literacy effect,the lack of the necessary Chinese culture knowledge of the teachers,the lack of a few aspects of the Chinese character culture teaching and auxiliary data used in the primary school stage,And a representative teaching case and a teaching fragment are selected to be explained.Finally,the author expresses his own point of view that cultural literacy teaching should run through the whole primary school stage,and put forward different teaching ideas for students in different stages.It is hoped that these teaching strategies can provide inspiration and reference to literacy teaching in primary school.
