The Mathematics Application Problem is a classical part in Mathematics especially in Compulsory education.According to the New Curriculum Criteria,the students’ learning and understanding Mathematics should attach importance to their experience and their gained knowledge,letting them feel the relationship between mathematics and real life.In primary schools,Mathematics Application Problem teaching plays a very important role in Mathematics teaching which accounts for 40% of the time.However,a difficult problem is the application of primary school mathematics teaching.In recent years,teaching and research on the application problem becomes more,but still less than the research and learning primary school math teaching.Since the implementation of the new curriculum,the teaching situation of primary school mathematics application problem is not well changed.This article is about studying the problem of learning in primary school mathematics application obstacles and problems in the application of teaching so as to find out the corresponding strategies to improve learning and teaching effect in primary school mathematics application problem.Through literature,questionnaire,interview,case analysis and other forms,with their observation and practice in the teaching of.Suzhou Xiangcheng District,a provincial experimental primary school,the sixth grade students and all mathematics teachers carried out research and analysis,found that students’ learning problems and teaching problems.Based on these two aspects of the detailed research indicates that there is not accurate problem based knowledge representation,are not solid,learning interest is weak,their ability and abstraction poor students,no inspection of habits.There are teachers of teaching reading mistakes,rely too much on the hierarchical teaching material,no significant characteristics of exercise forms a single,divorced from reality,partial type.For students,there are five main aspects of the strategy,and conduct research.Including: strengthen basic knowledge training,strengthen the training,strengthen their ability of mathematical interest training,training students’ good abstraction ability,the problem-solving habits training for teachers of teaching thinking,selection optimization strategy,problem-solving exercises inquiry training strategy and cooperation strategy.
