With the globalization of the economy,the more competitive the society is,the higher the needs of people's comprehensive qualifications are.Hence,the most important task for vocational colleges is to cultivate high-qualified graduates to serve the society.Sharing a significant part in human's comprehensive ability,the music education is put in an important place.This will not only benefit the students' musical intelligence,but also improve their overall abilities.Only in this way,can we ensure that the students are improved in terms of their moral,intellectual and fitness level as well as in their appreciation of aesthetics.Due to the low level of overall abilities of higher vocational college students and their cultural understandings,it's important to launch the music elective courses in higher vocational colleges.Aiming at improving students' musical and cultural understanding,this course will cultivate the students' creativity and thinking ability,as well as their overall ability and intelligence.Recently,according to the relative documents from the Ministry of Education,every higher vocational college has launched music elective courses within their own abilities.The current situation is,however,most of these courses still remain ruleless.Without a good system,this course will not make the most of its educational effects.This paper takes vocational personnel training objectives as breakthrough,putting forward the corresponding countermeasures for the investigation and analysis of elective music lessons in five higher vocational colleges in Hebei Province,and making it more reasonable,standard and systematic,so as to accelerate the implementation of music quality education,and to improve the comprehensive quality of vocational college students,laying a good foundation for their future study,work and life.The paper is divided into four parts,the first part is the introduction,which describes the research background,research significance,research purpose,research status,research methods,and related concepts,the second part discusses the function,significance and policy basis for music elective course in higher vocational colleges;in the third part,the music elective courses in five Higher Vocational Colleges of Hebei province were investigated and analyzed,including the mechanism of management,curriculum,teachers,teaching materials,teaching facilities,the level of students' music quality,teaching effect factors;for the fourth part survey respectively highlighted the countermeasures and suggestions for the problems highlighted by the survey results.The purpose of this thesis is to study the construction of Higher Vocational Colleges music elective course for the scientific theory,to establish a scientific curriculum system,making the music elective course in Higher Vocational Colleges of Hebei Province go along the track of prosperous development,and contributing to the personnel training.
