Briefly On The Application Of The Orff Teaching Method In The Training Of The Primary School

As the quality-oriented education of our country goes deeper and deeper,every school pays more attention to it,especially to the aesthetic education.The music education has imperceptible and positive influences on children,such as to help build their integrate characters,develop good temperament,and cultivate their comprehensive abilities,therefore,it has played a very important role in aesthetic education of school.In this background,the collective musical teaching activity,like children's chorus in school music education,has become a significant extra-curriculum teaching programme that each school has carried out in recent years for it can better cultivate children's teeming and cooperative ability and awareness.However,in the teaching practice of children's chorus training in primary schools,there have been problems which exist in teaching ideology,content,form,and method and are against the teaching principles for children's growth.If we could adopt some ideas related to Orff's teaching method,we can not only solve these problems,but also innovate the current training methods to have better teaching effects.Through describing Orff's teaching method and children's chorus,the characteristics of children's chorus training combined with the traits of physical and mental development of elementary school students,discussing about the possibilities to introduce the idea in Orff's teaching method into children's chorus training in elementary school about teaching objects,teaching contents,etc.,and my own teaching practice as a chorus commanding teaching at Dalian Miaoling Elementary School,this paper has elaborated the application of Orff's teaching method in rhythm training,voice training,inner listening training and work performance training in chorus training.
