Chorus teaching is very important in music teaching,it occupies pivotal position in music education,the children's chorus teaching also gain ground in music teaching of primary and middle schools.As an important part of the chorus art,it is the fundamental method to achieve the overall goal of music teaching,its rich expressive force brings the attention of the music industry.Kodaly method,Orff method and the Dalcroze approach are listed as "the world's three major outstanding music education system",has a profound influence on the development of foreign and domestic music education.This paper will study and compare Kodaly and Orff teaching method with traditional methods,the use of the two methods in children's chorus teaching and training will greatly improve the children's interest in music.For children who are in the age of primary school,the aesthetic attitude of music is always the starting point.The introduction firstly explains the background,purpose,method and significance of the research,and introduces the present situation of the main contents of Kodaly and Orff teaching method and its application through literature review,then enters into the actual process for comparative study.The first experimental school of Linyi is introduced at the beginning,then takes the comparison to select two choral groups as experimental objects,and develops teaching plans separately based on the traditional teaching method and the Kodaly and Orff teaching method.Finally,we compare the use of the two teaching plans in the two groups in all aspects through a semester of teaching.The evaluation of the experimental results is a combination of classroom observation,interviews,questionnaires and test questions.Through evaluation and analysis,the author tries to find the current problems of the school choir,as well as the actual effect and the application of the Kodaly and Orff teaching method through the actual case,to try to evaluate the effect and significance of the two teaching methods in children's chorus teaching.The main results of this paper are as follows: 1.In the chorus rehearsal,the students are willing to accept the new teaching method.2,Colvin gestures of Kodaly teaching help a lot in the chorus training to improve the students' intonation,most students have mastered the Colvin gestures.3,during the rhythm training,students prefer the use of Orff method to combine recitation and rhythm.4,Singing ability,the teacher adopts the Kodaly method in the sol FA notation to help students enhance the ability of identification of spectrogram.5,After the use of advanced teaching method,the enthusiasm of the students is very high,they are willing to take the initiative to participate in the music game organized by teachers,and the teaching have become more easy and relaxed.
