With the deepening of quality education,people pay more and more attention to music education in primary schools.Orff music education has been introduced in my country for nearly 40 years and is welcomed by music educators and students.Orff music uses a unique educational form and colorful teaching methods to break the single form of listening and learning to sing in China's traditional music teaching,transforming the teaching concept of focusing on teachers and focusing on skills,teaching based on students' interests and Demand is the starting point and foothold to help students develop aesthetic qualities.Orff teaching is suitable for the music classroom teaching of primary school students in China,which meets the standards of primary school music curriculum and is consistent with the reform of music curriculum in China.However,due to the limitations of education system,teaching environment,regional culture,economy and other factors,there is insufficient attention in practical applications.Difficulties and misunderstandings of formalism and objective conditions.Based on this,this article analyzes,practices and summarizes the application of Orff's teaching method in the music classroom of elementary schools.This article first sorts out the development status of Orff music education at home and abroad,explains the concept,content,and characteristics of Orff music,chooses Zitong Primary School,and integrates Orff music teaching method into the primary music classroom for classroom practice.Questionnaires,interviews and other methods compare the experimental class with the control class,analyze the teaching effect,and conclude that the Orff teaching method can create a relaxed and pleasant classroom atmosphere,improve student classroom participation,interest in music learning,and enhance teaching effectiveness,in the process of helping students to feel and understand music independently,to cultivate students' aesthetic ability and creativity,in the process of Orff's localization,integrate local culture into music activities,and cultivate students' cultural self-confidence.Finally,problems were found,and suggestions were made to improve school administrators' awareness,improve teaching equipment,improve teachers' professional qualities,and strengthen classroom teaching,etc.,providing reference for the application of Orff's music teaching method in elementary school music classrooms.
