Education level is one of the important factors on influencing female occupational status.According to the traditional human capital theory and some other relative theories,schooling is an approach of increasing human capital;it helps women to obtain better careers.After the founding of New China,the development of Chinese female educational enterprise has been established along the right track.In additional to this fact,the prime time of higher education level for female arrived after the Chinese economic reform.The high investment from Chinese government to education system enhances women education level and average years of schooling.At the same time,Chinese social structure has experiencing great changes.Under such circumstance,China,the country that has one of the highest participation rates of female labor force around the world,has experienced what kind of changes in women occupational structure is studied in this research;along with the correlation between women's occupational statues and their education levels.First of all,this paper defines and states the concepts of Chinese social structure,occupational status,occupational mobility through the study of pertinent literature.It also organizes the demarcate range of white-collar and blue-collar.Follow that,the paper generalizes the development condition of our current female education level from the founding of New China to Reform and opening-up.The change of percentage of women undergraduates during different time periods has been obtained through Educational Statistics Yearbook of China published in different years.It will be Compared the gross enrollment rate of higher education and the proportion of female college students with some developed countries,reflects the continuous change of higher education,especially women's higher education and the difference of developed countries.Moreover,after collecting all relative data from China Labour Statistical Yearbook,the statistics of the ratio of female employees and total employees of both genders at each industry,as well as the proportion of female employees at each career versus overall women employees in all professions have been calculated and formed a data table.The table leads us to analyze the transform of female occupational status.Finally,based on the analysis of the education level of female white-collar in different age groups,compared with the men,that there are differences in the proportion of male and female white-collar occupation and education has a greater impact on woman's career mobility.At the same time,though the changing trend of the working women and the proportion of college students continue to improve in white-collar.It can be judged that the education level of women in our country is increasing constantly,which promotes the optimization of women's occupational structure.However,with the development of higher education,the proportion of female college students is not consistent with the occupational structure.It is the essence of female college students' employment difficulties.Therefore,it is necessary to develop the educational structure and occupational structure in order to optimize the occupational structure and improve the occupational status of women.
