This paper analyzes and examines the characteristics and shortcomings of contemporary Taiwan middle school civic education by combing the curriculum,content arrangement and target method of civic education in contemporary Taiwan middle school,so as to give some enlightenment to the education of civic education in mainland China and Taiwan.This article is divided into four parts.The first part of the interpretation of the connotation and essence of civic education,accurate grasp of its significance;the same time,the contemporary Taiwan middle school civic education theoretical sources and historical evolution of the study,the theoretical source from the two directions to the general,A historical period starting to summarize the various periods of Taiwan secondary school civic education context.The second part is the systematic analysis of the specific curriculum,content arrangement and teaching method of civic education in contemporary Taiwan middle school,which is divided into two parts: junior middle school and high school.The third part analyzes and contrasts the curriculum arrangement and the writing of civic education in contemporary Taiwan middle school,and takes a fair and objective attitude,examines and examines its characteristics and shortcomings.The fourth part is the revelation from the contemporary Taiwan middle school civic education.
