| Being an important part of higher education,higher vocational education focuses on cultivating technical and skilled talents.The "Guiding Opinion on Further Supporting Innovation and Entrepreneurship among College Students" issued by the General Office of the State Council in 2021 not only poses challenges to the reform of academic education,but also points out a new direction for the development of vocational education oriented towards talent cultivation.The tourism management major,as a typical representative of cultivating high-level inter-disciplinary talents in vocational education,has a deep integration of entrepreneurship education,professional education curriculum system,and talent training programs.It is not only conducive to promoting the long-term development of the major itself,but also helps to enhance the high-quality development of the regional and even national tourism economy through the cultivation of entrepreneurship ability of tourism management students.In recent years,the COVID-19 has had a great impact on all walks of life,especially on the tourism industry,which takes the high mobility as its main form.with high mobility.As a result,the difficult employment situation not only brings challenge to personnel of tourism industry,but also has a negative impact on tourism management majors from higher vocational colleges such as their expectations in future employment as well as employment prospects.With the aim of further responding to the call of encouragement and support to college students from the national level to innovate and start businesses,and constantly improve the talent cultivation system of vocational education,the research selected college students of tourism management typically as the research object,and studied the impact of entrepreneurship education on college students’ entrepreneurial intention from the perspective of entrepreneurship,based on Theory of Planned Behavior.Starting from the micro level of entrepreneurship education,the paper focuses on analyzing the interaction among students’ entrepreneurial attitude,school education,and family support,and explores comprehensive impact on the entrepreneurial intention of vocational tourism management majors.The hypothesis is validated through designing questionnaires and multivariate statistical analysis,and empirical analysis is also used to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the model design.The research mainly involves the following aspects:(1)deconstructing concepts such as entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial intention,and explaining the mechanism of their interaction;(2)Taking the tourism management major of vocational colleges in Zhejiang Province as an example,this paper analyzes the current situation,characteristics,and influencing factors of entrepreneurial intention among vocational college students majoring in tourism management;(3)Constructing a research model on the impact of entrepreneurial intention on vocational tourism management majors,proposing hypotheses,and verifying the correctness of the hypotheses through questionnaire design and research analysis;(4)Selecting the entrepreneurial intentions of graduates majoring in tourism management from typical vocational colleges in Zhejiang Province,and conducting empirical analysis through factor analysis,regression analysis,independent sample T-test analysis,and analysis of variance;(5)Proposing suggestions to strengthen entrepreneurship education and enhance entrepreneurial intention through case studies based on empirical analysis.The research has found out that the hypotheses proposed in the paper have been validated.The level of entrepreneurship education received,the entrepreneurial attitude of students in entrepreneurship education,school education,and family support have a significant positive impact on students’ entrepreneurial intention,indicating that entrepreneurship education will significantly affect the entrepreneurial intention of vocational tourism management students.Additionally,individual characteristics such as personal basic situation and recognition of professional employment prospects will also have significant differences in their entrepreneurial intentions.The above research aims to further reveal the impact mechanism of entrepreneurship education in higher vocational tourism management majors towards entrepreneurial intentions from a micro prospective.This paper has also sorted out the relationship between various influencing factors to provide reference for the improvement of the entrepreneurship education system in higher vocational tourism management majors,and effectively advance highlevel development of innovation and entrepreneurship ability among college students in higher vocational tourism management majors in China. |
