Objective: To evaluate the anaerobic power and body composition of upper and lower limbs of some collegiate rock-climbers in Shanghai, and to elucidate the anaerobic metabolic capacity and body shape characteristics of collegiate rock-climbers.To explore the correlation between the anaerobic power of lower limbs and the body composition of collegiate rock-climbers,to provide the theoretical basis for the training effect of the rock-climbers movement, the initial selection of the athletes, the training plan and the training method of the coaches. Methods: The 42 young men were divided into two groups. The athletes group is 21 collegiate rock-climbers.Non athletes group is healthy 21 ordinary collegiate students. This experiment is divided into two parts, laboratory test and playground test, the laboratory part includes body shape index test and upper and lower limbs Wingate test, the playground is Powerslap test. All subjects had no strenuous exercise within 24 hours, adequate sleep,no obvious injury in six months,no metal graft in the body. The height and weight of the two groups were matched(p>0.05).Results:(1)The body fat rate of athletes group was significantly lower than that of non athletes group(p<0.01),there was no significant difference between the two groups of BMI and FFM(p>0.05).(2)The Powerslap test height and Powerslap coefficients of the athletes group were significantly higher than the non athletes group(p<0.01).(3)The upper limb PP of the athletes group was significantly higher than that of the non athletes group(p<0.05),athletes group PP(W/kg),AP,AP(W/kg)and MP were significantly higher than those of non athletes group(p<0.01).The t PP and PD of the athletes group were significantly lower than those of the non athletes group(p<0.01,p<0.05).(4)There was no significant difference between the two groups in the lower limb Wingate test(p>0.05).Conclusion:(1)The anaerobic power index of the upper limb of the athletes group was significantly better than that of the non athletes group, and the athletes have a strong capacity and explosive power.(2)Two groups of subjects with superior limb muscle fatigue resistance is better than lower limb muscles.(3)There was no significant difference between the two groups in the anaerobic power index of the lower limb Wingate.Suggestion:(1)Height and armspan may have an impact on Powerslap test results and should be analyzed comprehensively.(2)Try to use the Wingate test in rock climbing training, and as a new way of evaluating and monitoring the effectiveness of training.(3)When applying the Wingate test to practical training,it should focus on improving the AP and reducing the PD.
