The application of music instrument in class can be traced back to 1990's.Music instrument is the main part in music education same with singing,music reading and appreciation,which is indicated in “nine-year compulsory education full-time junior middle schools music education curricula”Afterward,with the promulgation and implementation of music course standard in 2001 and 2011,people pay more and more attention to music instrument application in class and music instrument teaching also becomes an important way of music practice.In the times of quality education,we have a bit of success in music instrument teaching,which is often used in music class.There are also some deficiencies.For example,music instrument teaching is the weak link in music education in my hometown Changyi,Weifang,Shandong province.Since many schools attach less importance to music class and singing is the major part in most schools,which causes many issues in music instrument teaching in class.Therefore,it is very necessary that we do research and study in musical instrument teaching in Changyi area.This article organizes the date by sending questionnaires to students and parents and sorts out the questions by interviewing some music teachers,summarizes some problems about musical instrument teaching in Changyi area.It is found that the main problems affecting musical instrument teaching in Changyi area are the deficiency of equipment in school,teachers poor ability,the schools less emphasis,parents lower inspection,students interest and etc.we will do some study on these issues and find the method and strategies.Hope we can make a contribution to musical instrument teaching in Changyi area.
