Tennis is a sport that require to have great powerful strength.Powerful strength is very important in the strength training,and it is imperative to the performance that player can take.Powerful strength have many types in the game of tennis,such as,service,quick firing,quick stopping,random direction of change,re-firing,volley and powerful swing.In recent years,the theory of physical training from the advanced country spread broadly in our country.Compared to traditional training philosophy,player was required to take functional movement screen, and find muscle inbalance and wrong movement mode.physic therapy and rectify training was took to resolve recent limition,then play the effective strength training.Gray Cook is a very excellent coach in the physical training from the world.The article try to develop the powerful strength for player based on Development Discipline of Sport Performance from Grey Cook,so we take systemtic periodization training to examine the effectiveness of training method and means.In final,we hope to offer practical refenence for powerful strength training in tennis.Research conclusion:1?We should take movement mode assessment and rectify before tennis player take the strength training.Developing effective movement mode can take a good base.we take personal rectify training for six tennis player,so the limintion of player was resolved.2?Starting phase pay attention to nerve-muscle adapting and correct movement mode.we take the test as starting data.3?After the second test,we compare the second test with the starting test,and general test indictor(vertical jump,jump long)have remarked improve(P<0.05),the two indictor have not a remarked improve(P>0.05).4?After the third phase,and compare the data with the second data,we conclude that general test data(vertical jump,jump long)and special test indictor(air resistance forehand swing,air resistance back swing)have remarked improve(p<0.05).5?After three phase of training and test,we analyse the data,we find the date have great advance. It suggest that the maximum strength transform into the powerful strength,at the same time the special powerful strength inprove,so it suggest training method have great effectiveness.So we conclude that Optimum Performance pyramid method system is scientific.Put forward the following suggestions:1, in the development of explosive strength at the same time, to clear the largest explosive mechanism, such as rate of force development; stretch shortening cycle of action model and basis of muscle strength.2, in the process of developing the basic strength of the athletes, not only to develop the ability of contraction of the relevant muscle groups, but also to focus on the eccentric contraction of the athletes training, improve the ability of the eccentric contraction of the relevant muscle groups.3, the use of various training methods(high load, low load and low speed, high speed) to achieve the ultimate, which should be of help to improve the scores of the factors to be identified and evaluated, in the stage of the specific implementation, and continue to follow-up testing.
