Variant teaching is the most traditional and typical approach to teach mathematics.Benefiting from variant teaching,the students in our country have a better understanding of the basic knowledge of mathematics and the basic skills than the western students.However,their creative thinking and ability are inferior to that of western students.At the same time,the practice indicates that it is of great significance to carry out the mathematical variant teaching from different angles,different sides,different situations,and different background.The variant teaching can improve students' mathematical skills,making students have a better understanding of the nature of mathematical objects,the meaning of knowledge and the mathematical methods.The variant teaching can establish the connections between different knowledge and summarize the mathematical laws.On the other hand,there is a large number of theoretical research on variant teaching,minority of which are practical.Therefore,this study takes the Dong nan middle school for example,and do the research in the way of memoir of the class.On the basis of the literature rexiew,the study explores the types,the teaching principles and the advantages of mathematical variant teaching by combing the analysis of teaching case with the memoir of the class.The study also does research on how to doing better in the study by variant teaching.We want to know if the variant teaching be generalized to the other three-star schools.Eventually sevsral related conclusions are as follows:1.Variant teaching has a positive effect on the teachers and the students.2.Teachers should carefully design the type of the subject,guide the students to find out the essential characters of keeping things unchanged through a series of changes step by step.3.The impact and the revelation of the variant teaching on the college entrance examination.4.The variant teaching mode of the Dongnan middle school could be generalized to the other three-star schools.
