Research On Application Of Project Teaching Method In The Tour Guide Training Course Of Secondary Vocational Schools

With the rapid development of the tourism industry,the industry practitioners have been put forward higher requirements.Secondary vocational school tourism professionals assume an important role in the training of tour guides.At present,the majority of tourism students in secondary vocational schools are lacking in practical ability,problem solving skills,teamwork skills,etc.which need to reform the current teaching methods.The tour guide training course is a main professional course for students majoring in tourism,with strong practicality and comprehensiveness.Its main task is to cultivate students' professional level and practice skills,laying a foundation for the students into the tour industry in the future.In this paper,eight secondary vocational schools were taking as sample to do the questionnaire survey and interview.On the results of the survey data statistics,it was found that there are several problems in the course of the tour guide training,such as a single teaching methods,students lacking of practical ability,innovation ability and the team cooperation ability,a single curriculum examination,etc.The project teaching method was introduced from the aspects of its connotation,characteristics,implementation steps.And the project teaching method and traditional teaching methods were compared to sum up its advantage.Combined with the project teaching method in the applications of the tour guide training teaching practice,I compared two tourist class in Dingzhou vocational education center using project teaching method and got a conclusion.The project teaching method can active classroom atmosphere,enhance the quality of teaching;improve the students' initiative and creativity;cultivate the students' practical ability and team cooperation ability.At the same time,the schools,teachers and students need to work together to make the advantage of project teaching method to the limit.
