The textbook has an important position in the curriculum reform,is the embodiment of curriculum standard,is the foundation of students expanding the fidld of vision,is the basis of teachers'teaching,is the connection of students and teachers.The primary'task of curriculum reform is the reform of the teaching material.As the curriculum reform of every countries going on,publishing a variety of versions.The textbooks also enter the era of diversification.The high school biology textbooks in mainland China and Taiwan China is research object of the topic.In the study,document analysis,content analysis and illustrate method are used to research structure system:the cover,arrangement of logic, column setting,illustrations,exercises in five aspects. Content system:content selection, experiment inquiry,the education of STS in five aspects.The paper also studies ethical and moral,the environmental protection,the content of the law,professional tendency in four aspects.After comparing,we can see the difference and similarity between the two sets of textbooks.Some advices are taken to the improvement of texebooks.
