Study On The Abilities Of The Founder Of College Students' Virtual Entrepreneurial Team

This paper's content is based on the interview of seven university students who start up business in the field of software development in Beijing.On the basis of literature review,this study aim to ident ify the differences between the traditional entrepreneurial team and the virtual entrepreneurial team by the method of qualitat ive interviews.What's more,this study also want to analyze the role of the funder in the college students' virtual entrepreneurial team and to explore how the abilities corresponds to different role in the team.This paper obtained the prelim inary findings through the analysis of the related material and deep interview.Firstly,the differences between the virtual team and traditional team mainly are the two aspects of the constitute of team members and the team communication.The concrete contents of the two aspects include the stability and the heterogeneity of team members and whether the members come from the same organizat ion,as well as the communicating way of the members and whether they need fixed office.Secondly,the roles that the entrepreneur ial virtual team' funder take include: coordinator,monitor and evaluator,executor.Different roles relat ive ability should include: coordinator correspond with communication skill and management ability.Communication skill mainly includes the correct selection of the ability of communication tools,the ability of clearly self expression and be good at listening to others.Management ability mainly includes the management abilit ies of the team and himself.Monitor and evaluator correspond with the abilit y to test the team members' performance and to choose the team members.Project feasibility evaluation ability mainly includes the abilit ies of analyzing and evaluat ing the consumer groups,industry present situation and the team strength.Executor correspond with the abilities of the performing skills to the business idea and the abilit ies of the continue performing skills after the setback.
