Motivation is one of the most important factors that affect academic achievement. The motivation will be divided into foursorts:internal motivation,external motivation and motivation close-range,long-term motivation,based on the reference to the domestic and foreign theories of motivation.The factorsthat affect the foreigner's motivation can be diveded into four sorts:language,teachers,textbooks and multimedia.And the survey results were analyzed by statistics.The first chapter is an introduction.It introduced the reasons why I chose this topic,and the purpose and significance of research methods. The study of motivation about Thai students can provide a theoretical basis for the"the Chinese Volunteer Teacher'Program in Thailand"and is benefit to carry out the program.Analysis of factors affecting the motivation can offer some references and examples for the Chinese teachers'teaching.The second chapter expounds the research status about learning motivation,The motivation is the intrinsic motivation to motivate individuals to engage in certain behaviors,which always becomes the desire a desire to achieve a certain purpose.The study of motivation in foreign countries is divided into three stages:the period of social psychology?cognitive scene and take the process as the center.The third chapter is research programme. The research object of this paper is middle school students who learn Chinese in Kanthararom school.The article collects the data by means of questionnaire.The forth chapter is the analysis of statistical data.By analyzing the survey results of middle school students who learn Chinses in Thailand I get the conclusion that the external motivation and a strong close-range motivation are more obvious,and the internal motivation and vision motive are inapparent.In chapter five the writer put forward the corresponding countermeasures.the Chinese teachers are supposed to pay attention to the first Chinese class,and stick to their principles during the teaching at the same time.According to the real situation,Chinese teachers should be flexible to choose teaching materials, improve the efficiency of the classroom.Besides Chinese teacher need pay attention to the multimedia teaching method and multimedia data research and development.
