Mostly new age college students were born in the early ninety s of the 20th century,with a higher level of intelligence and knowledge.They are at the key stage of fostering their outlook on world,life and values.The college students,represented by "after 90's"nowadays have their own characteristics,which is a new challenge for teachers in universities.At the same time,ever-increasing students appear with the enrollment expansion make it harder to manage young college students.So that it's effective to achieve this goal by cultivating student leaders,who can influence groups of college students.This paper starts from the concept of student leader,considering to the influence of special characteristics in the new period on college student leader cultivating,elaborating the theory basis,historical experience and important significance of college student leader cultivating.Then,based on the specific situation of College student cadres cultivating in Nanjing University of Financial&Economics.With questionnaires,I studied the current situation of cultivating student leaders,and conclude the achievement and existing problem in the process of cultivating.At the same time,though theoretical analysis and literature research,I explore the foreign theories and methods about student-leader cultivating,especially in four aspects:training concept,organization structure,training mode and incentive system.To sum up,this paper using the method of theoretical analysis,empirical analysis and comparative analysis,combined with the characteristics in the new period and the foreign experience,trying to develope student leader cultivating through training idea,organization structure,training mode and incentive system.
