In the era of information technology,network education resources are increasingly rich.Among them,the learning website has caused widespread concern because it can help students carry out personalized learning without limits of time and place.Physics is an important basic subject in junior high school.And it is generally considered as a difficult subject by students.Therefore,in order to enable students to better learn physics,the establishment of the junior middle school physics learning website is very necessary and important.At present,some learning websites with enough contents have been built,but they are not strong in pertinence,and not consistent with the psychological and learning characteristics of the students.This paper aims at designing and making an interesting and attractive junior high school physics learning website for the junior middle school students.The website will help students learn physic in extra-curricular time at the guidance of teachers.The theories of multiple intelligences advance organizer teaching,and constructivism learning and information architecture were adopted.The learning resources of the website were organized logically.According to the characteristics of various resources,mutltimedia styles were choosed and presented.The styles can cultivate students’ multiple intelligence and create meaningful learning conditions.Basing on the junior high school physics characteristics and the characteristics of junior high school students,the website mainly includes five modules.They are autonomous learning,resource sharing,physical reading,experimental garden,and interesting physics modules.These modules can stimulate student’s interest in learning physics;help students grasp physical concepts and laws;enrich students’knowledge;and cultivate students’ autonomous learning ability.We paid enough attention in the navigation design of the website.Four types including module navigation,cue navigation,page navigation,and auxiliary navigation were designed to make students aware of their location and easy to learning.In the web page design,concise and generous beautiful,harmonious,unified style was preferred,which may help students to be familiar with the web interface,and make the learning content clearly presented in front of students.Dreamweaver CS5 software was mainly used to build the website.Of course,other softwares were also used in collecting various materials.To improve the efficiency of the production,template files and CSS styles were applicated.JavaScript behavior was also used to enhance the dynamic interaction effect.Finally,the specific details of the production process of various modules were narrated and the effects of production were shown as well.A junior high school physics learning website was built guided by some education theories.The learning website will help students to better learn physics.
