In our country Class is an important field for student's life.The climate is directly related to the healthy growth of the students.In1962,Halpin and Croft formally adopted "school organizational climate" to describe the concept of organizational behavior in schools,and it was quickly and widely used in the field of education management.Since then,the research on the school climate has sprung up.However,the research on class climate is currently at the preliminary stage.When sorting out and analyzing the related research on class climate,the author found that there are few researches,as well as limitations in the developing process on the class climate,the core concept being ambiguous,the researching method being monotonous,the measuring tools being absent,the object of studying being single,the local research being rare and the research results not being properly used.With the help of the research theory and research methods of the school organizational climate,the author has carried on thorough research into the class climate.First of all,what is the class climate?How can we define it?What types of class climate are there?How can we measure the class climate?What are the factors that affect the class climate?How can we take effective measures to optimize the construction of class climate?Based on the thinking above,the author,having got puzzlement in personal practice,will elaborate the reason of choosing this research topic,and sort out and analyze the current literature on the class climate types and the influence factors.Then,the author will illustrate the research problems and design of this study.The research design mainly includes the research methods and the choice of the research object,the design of the questionnaire,the collection and analysis of the data,the statistics and analysis of the questionnaire.Since there is no questionnaire for measuring class climate,the author has revised the one from "My class" by Jiang Guangrong.The revised questionnaire includes four factors,namely,the relationship between teachers and students,the order and the discipline,the relationship between students and the morale of the class.It is proved that the questionnaire has good reliability and validity and it can be used in scientific studies.The author has gained five types of class climate,that are open type,independent type,controlled type,disciplined type and loose type,by applying the SPSS 19.0 software to make a systematic cluster analysis of the questionnaire data.Through interviews and observations about individual cases,the author has further analyzed the influencing factors of class climate,and has tried to explore the problems and solutions in the construction of class climate.It is hoped that this study can help teachers to inspect and understand the types and influencing factors of class climate,and provide teachers with effective educational suggestions and strategies to improve class climate.
