The Status And Reflection Upon The Talent Cultivation Model Linking Secondary And Higher Vocational Education In Shanghai

The experimental item of the talent cultivation model linking secondary and higher vocational education(hereinafter referred to as TSHVE)is an important attempt to construct modern vocational education system,cultivate high quality technical talents and offer a chance for secondary vocational school students to realize their sustainable development.So far,125 stations of TSHVE have been authorized by Shanghai government,which involves 79 majors.Based on CIPP evaluation model,the researcher conducts a field investigation on "SHVE" in Shanghai,and gives a theoretical thinking from the angles of background,input,process and results,hoping to offer theoretical evidence and practical reference for subsequent theory and experimental research.Five chapters as follows:Chapter 1,Introduction.This chapter mainly deals with the background and significance of the research.It summarizes current related documents and literatures,defines conceptions involved in the research,and puts forward the specific plan,including target,method,approach etc.for the completion of the research.Chapter2,the construction and application of the analysis framework for the current situation of TSHVE in Shanghai.The researchers set up the evaluation framework for TSHVE upon CIPP education evaluation model,and analysis framework for Students’ Satisfaction upon the evaluation theories on education quality.Based on these frameworks,research tools are developed and relative surveys are carried out.Chapter 3,performance evaluation of TSHVE in Shanghai.The chapter elaborates on the performance of TSHVE in Shanghai from the angles of students’quality,stakeholders’ value judgement and students’ satisfaction.Based on the elaboration,major problems in TSHVE are summarized and analyzed.Chapter4,cause analysis of the problems existing in Shanghai’s TSHVE.This chapter mainly deals with the causes of the problems in TSHVE from the aspects of background evaluation,input evaluation and process evaluation.Chapter 5,Suggestions for optimizing TSHVE in Shanghai.Based on the analysis in the above chapters,this chapter summarizes the successful experience of Shanghai’s TSHVE,and offers suggestions and solutions to the problems existing in TSHVE.
